However, after uninstalling version 4, both versions were removed, and I have been experiencing the aforementioned error ever since. Initially, I had installed version 4 using the offline installer before attempting to install version 5 using the online installer. Note that I am able to use the offline installer for version 4. If you don't wish to do this, you can simply disable Hyper-V and continue using your current BlueStacks 5 installed on your desktop/laptop. NOTE: Uninstalling BlueStacks 5 will remove all your apps, instances and game data. I forgot to mention that the installation had already reached 100% before the error occurred. First, uninstall BlueStacks 5 currently on your desktop/laptop by following the steps given here. You should uninstall the App player and restart." When I click on the app (BlueStacks X) on my desktop, it opens, but when I attempt to access App Player, I receive the following message: "Sorry, the current version of the App Player is not compatible with your PC. However, if I click on "cancel," the app (BlueStacks X) installs on my laptop. Please check your Internet connection and try again." Despite my stable internet connection and several retries, the error persisted. ![]() I received an error message while trying to install BlueStacks stating, "There was an error while trying to download BlueStacks. ![]()
